ABOUT COSMIC VIDEO

A just-for-fun music video channel made for friends. Pick a channel, kick back, and watch the same videos as everyone else tuned in.

HOW THE VIDEOS WORK

Cosmic Video doesn't host, copy or download any videos. Every video plays in YouTube's own embedded player, streamed straight from YouTube, from uploads by the artists and their record labels. YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy apply to anything you watch in that player.

If a video's owner turns off embedding or removes it, it simply stops playing here, and the channel skips it.

REQUESTS, SKIPS & NAMES

Requests come from the Cosmic Video catalog, and they play for everyone watching that channel.
Vote Skip needs a majority of the people watching. Next (just me) only changes your screen.
The name you give with a request shows on screen. Keep it friendly: rude names are swapped for "A viewer".

WHAT WE STORE

A random ID saved in your browser, so we can count viewers and stop double votes. It isn't linked to who you are.
The name you type with a request (saved in your browser too, so you don't have to retype it). Requests and their names are kept only until they've played.
No accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking of our own. YouTube's player and Google Fonts may set their own cookies.

TAKE A VIDEO DOWN

If you own the rights to a video here and want it gone, email us and we'll remove it from the catalog promptly, no questions asked.

Email: hello@cosmicvideo.net. Include the video's title, or the YouTube link.

THE FINE PRINT

Cosmic Video is a non-commercial hobby project. It's not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, MTV, or any artist or record label; all songs, videos and trademarks belong to their owners. The channel is provided as is, and things may change, break or disappear at any time.
