PRIVACY POLICY
Short version: no accounts, no ads of our own, no selling anything. We keep a few anonymous counts so we know which channels people watch.
YOUTUBE
Cosmic Video uses YouTube API Services. Every video plays in YouTube's own embedded player, in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube's Terms of Service apply to what you watch, and Google may collect information through the player as described in the Google Privacy Policy. We don't receive anything about you from YouTube, and we never ask you to sign in to Google.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Anonymous viewing counts: how many minutes each channel is watched, and which videos are requested, skipped or loved. Each visitor is counted with a code that changes every day, so a visit can't be linked to you or to your next visit. Daily totals are kept for up to 13 months, then deleted.
- Reports and channel submissions you choose to send: the video or songs, the reason, and an optional first name for credit. Never an email address or account.
- Dedications you make: the song, the two first names you type, and the note you pick, so the link works (links expire after 400 days). The song may play on the public DEDICATIONS channel; the names and note are shown there only if you tick the box to feature it. Without that, it plays anonymously.
- Spam protection: to limit floods we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address and the date. It changes every day and can't be turned back into your address.
SAVED ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY
- Your settings (trivia and host on or off), your last channel, your guide sort and favorites, and your ♥ MY LOVES list are stored in your browser, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
- No accounts, logins, emails or payment details.
- No advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and no third-party analytics.
- We don't sell or share data with anyone.
